I just wanted to comment on how great the 4GB Ultra High Speed flash drive is. I just ran some SiSoft Sandra disk comparisons on it versus my friends brand new SanDisk 4GB. The Buffalo drive was on average about 2x as fast with reads and anywhere from 3x to 4x faster on writes. Very impressive, enough so he is going to replace his brand new drive with one like I purchased from Directron.com. So, again, great product... can't wait to see even higher capacity drives. This key would probably be a great product to utilize Vista's ready boost capabilities, especially with the enhanced write speeds and the low cost. Might be something worth marketing towards.

I am an IT VP and had several WD, Maxtor and other expensive external drives go bad on me in the past. I purchased the 300 G external drive and saw it literally run 24/7 for over a year now in a very hot environment without one single problem. I am so incredibly satisfied with this product which I truly abused, that I in the meantime purchased 3 Tera Stations and one Terastation Pro plus 3 additional external Hds. So far with the same satisfaction. I have in the meantime also consulted with several individuals and companies worldwide and they also purchased Buffalo Stations with great satisfaction. You have addressed the design flaw with your initial TeraStations (a nightmare to exchange a drive) and other than some language inconsistencies with the Navigator interface these are truly the best products of their kind. Unbeatable price/performance. You won me over as a lifelong customer and opinion maker for Buffalo, even though I was disappointed not to get the mail in rebate! only because I sent it in a few weeks late. Would be nice to reconsider this one. Please feel free to use my testimonial, as it is rare nowadays to get so much quality for the price. Truly good work, guys. You can and should be proud of your product range.
Very best greetings, Michel C. Zala
I just want to tell you how pleased I am with my new Buffalo HD (160). It performs beyond my expectations. I breathe a lot easier with my files backed up on the HD. Thanks to everyone for a great product.

I just wanted to take a moment to extend my sincere thanks for providing such great products at reasonable prices. I had explored many other options before purchasing a wireless adapter for my pc and to be honest with you, price paid a large part in my decision. The results, however, exceeded my expectations and the performance is simply amazing. I recommend your products to all of my friends and colleagues and have switched out all of my networking hardware in favor of your products.
Once again, Thank You.

I just want to say that your DVD Media Player is fantastic! I have been looking and experimenting with streaming video on a Network, and the Buffalo DVD Player works terrific on a Ethernet Network. I can stream DVD quality video from any PC or Server on my Network. I think this is the future of Multimedia, and your technology is on the cutting edge. I look forward to more products along these lines, and thank you again for a wonderful Player.

I have installed a Buffalo 802.11g network in my house using router, 1 PCI adapter, and 2 USB adapters. What a wonderful and easy system to use!!! I only had to make 2 phone calls: one because I have Comcast cable and their settings are not intuitive and one about setting encryption. The people I talked to on the phone were very knowledgeable and could answer my questions immediately. Your products are great!

After trying Ximeta with their horrible software then Tritton's Network Drive without success, your LinkStation setup and installed without a single hitch! Your software guys did a great job with the setup utility and user interface and your hardware guys did a great job integrating the power supply into the unit with fan cooling. Great documentation also.
Many Thanks.

I purchased the Buffalo Network USB Print Server (Model # LPV2-USB-TX1) this a.m. at CompUSA and just wanted to drop you an email to advise you that it works wonderfully with my HP DeskJet 932C InkJet Printer.

I've had a tough time over the years trying to find a print server that would allow me to connect this particular inkjet to it, as most other print servers I've found don't seem to function with this printer. The HP 932C is generally known as being difficult to network from the research I've done over the years.

I had the print server installed and up/running in a matter of 5 minutes and it works beautifully. Especially cool is the IPP printing option of being able to send print jobs via the Internet to the printer!

Prior to the purchase of this item, when doing work wirelessly via my laptop, I had to run upstairs and turn on our desktop PC in order to be able to print from the laptop to the inkjet printer, as it was connected directly to our desktop PC and was capable of printing wirelessly from the laptop only when being used a shared printer via the upstairs desktop PC being turned on and acting as a server PC to the printer. Now everything has changed and it's GREAT to not have to be dependent on the desktop PC to be on in order to print to our inkjet printer.
Thanks again for such a great product!
Sincerely,
Brad H. McCollum
I am writing to let you know that I have been using your products extensively over the past several months. These installations have included a simple setup using a WLA-L11G for client access, and a complex multi-point bridged configuration using six WLA-G54 Base stations. I have also done several installations that use the outdoor antennas, both the omni and directional, with the associated cables.

In all of these installations, your hardware has been top notch, and has worked perfectly every time. The web-based configurations are easy to follow and perform as expected. Also, I had to contact your technical support on one occasion, and the engineer that I spoke to was very knowledgeable, and very courteous. Unfortunately, I did not get the engineer's name, but I placed the call on the evening of November 19, 2003. Perhaps you could cross reference that evening against my name and express my gratitude to that person. He saved me many long hours of troubleshooting.

Perhaps most importantly, since using your products, we have not had ANY trouble tickets called in that were caused by the Buffalo hardware. The equipment is rock solid, and this saves us many headaches and upset clients. The product prices also make them very easy to sell. Thank You for building quality into your products and organization. I highly recommend Buffalo to any and all who ask.
Sincerely,
Chuck Johnston

I recently set up a wireless network using the Buffalo Technology Airstation router with four port hub and PC cards. I was primarily trying to network my desktops and laptops as well as share the cable modem. Using the CE drivers for the Orinoco Silver card, I successfully connected to my desktop for syncing and can access the the net and email via the Router in the Airstation connected to my cable modem. No more cradle and USB problems. This is way cool. I know you don't support CE , but thought you might be interested to know that your system works with the Jornada 720.

I got my Airstation up and running in about 15 minutes. What a great product.

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how happy I am with my Airstation access point. The quality and workmanship is excellent as well as some nice utilities to boot! You have by far the best bang for the buck in wireless. You need to advertise this stuff!!! I learned about your company on one of the newsgroups. I will do my part for you and recommend your products to customers who are asking about wireless. By the way I have a 3Com wireless card in my laptop which I have no problems with communicating with the Airstation. Interpretability and quality at an affordable price. What more could I ask? Thanks for a great product!

I have been looking for two days for a product line that would work in my office. Your products are exactly what I've been looking for. The ability to hook up a computer and a few other networking devices with wired connections, along with the wireless connections for our laptops is what I've been looking for. I just wish I had found it sooner. None of the search engines I used listed your site, and it was an accident that I found it at all. Just wanted you to know. Your prices and products are top rate. You need to get the word out about them. Also, you website is extremely informative. The best I have found so far as it not only tells what situations your products can work in, it also describes the limitations. I have much more faith in a company that doesn't just spout off about how great its products are.

Just wanted to let you know that your recent software upgrade was a night& day improvement over your previous codebase. Even connections where I experience minor packet loss, now perform flawlessly. I am seeing transfer speeds exceeding 200KB per second up from maximums of 85 KB per second. I was getting very frustrated for a while and could not seem to identify the source of the trouble. The primary symptom was the inability to ping the box and following an inability to open a web browser to the configuration > screen. Thanks for your hard work. The bridging capability on the L11 is a nice perk also...now we just need to work out a canned antenna splitter system so you can have one antenna inside and one outside to grab the signal.

I just thought I'd let you know that your Buffalo Tech Wireless cards do work in a Compaq Ipaq. I've noticed a few other posts from Buffalo customers and I've tried helping them with the following instructions. I found out that the Buffalo Technology PCMCIA card has the same chipset as the Compaq WL100. It is very easy to get it up and running. Here's what you need to do:

1. Install the Compaq WL100 drivers
2. Do a soft reset of the IPAQ
3. Insert Buffalo Wireless LAN card in PCMCIA slot
4. When dialog box comes up with "Unrecognized card" type "WL100NDS.dll" over the error message and press OK. This tells the IPAQ that the card inserted uses this DLL
5. Enjoy surfing!

I just purchased a WHR wireless router. I am so impressed. I am checking your web site for more products. I had been sticking to only Netgear and so on, not any more!!! My new router even looks cool!!!
Thanks,

So, probably not what you expect, but I just wanted to tell you that I have tried for years (not kidding) to configure 2 different Linksys Wireless Printservers, with no luck at all. The day that I got the damned thing to recognize the print server on the network I jumped for joy, but little did I know that that wasn't enough.

So, I read about this little printserver from someone called Buffalo on Amazon -- I note that it is the best rated USB printserver. So I take a shot. It shows up, and lo and behold, I have a printserver running on my network. Small, easy, (actually, ridiculously so after all the crap I put up with from Linksys).

So, thank you. You've made my life a little easier, so I can print from anywhere I have my laptop in the house........I know it's not much, but it is truly appreciated.
